Testing all locks using a sandbox or an unpublished theme can be a useful tool for you. This will allow you to check the functionality of locks without affecting the live theme. This can be done by following these steps:
1. For New Users:
Step 1: Click on the "Create lock" button to create your first lock to hide/display products/collections for specific customers on your Shopify store.
Step 2: Select a published/unpublished theme for applying your locks. You can always test and apply locks later to your desired theme. Now, click on the "Change" button.
Step 3: After choosing the theme, please check if your created locks function properly in your selected theme. You can do this by clicking on the "Check code status" button.
Step 4: Please test your existing locks (if any) or create a new lock and test. If locks are not working, If you encounter any issues with the locks not functioning properly, it may be necessary to perform advanced integration. To do this, click on the "click here" hyperlink.
If you still see that your locks are not working in a selected theme, you can contact our theme integration support team at themes@wholesalehelper.io for manual theme integration that should do that job for you..
2. For Existing Users:
Step 1: Please choose a theme from the dropdown menu (as shown in the below screenshot).
Once you've made your selection, you can proceed to create and test all your locks.
Your existing locks and settings will be automatically transferred to the newly selected theme.
Step 2: Please run a code check after the selection is made.
Step 3: Please test your existing locks (if any) or create a new lock and test. If locks are not working, If you encounter any issues with the locks not functioning properly, it may be necessary to have a manual theme integration.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND UPON CHANGING THE THEME:
- Our application does not automatically remove locks and the app code from the previously selected theme.
- To remove the app code and files from the previous theme, don't hesitate to get in touch with our theme integration support team at themes@wholesalehelper.io.
- If you reinstall our application, all locks and the previously selected theme will remain unchanged.
- If you delete the currently selected theme, our application will prompt you to choose a new theme before you proceed to create a new lock.
Miscellaneous use case: If the selected theme couldn't be found or deleted or does not exist, you'll see the following error message.
