Testing all locks in a sandbox or an unpublished theme can be a useful tool for you. This will allow you to check the functionality of locks without affecting your live theme. This can be done by following these steps:
Step 1: Open your Wholeasle Lock Manager app and click on Settings in the menu bar of the Wholesale Lock Manager.
Step 2: Navigate to Theme for applying locks and click on Change theme button.
Step 3: Select a published/unpublished theme for applying your locks from the list and click on the Confirm button.
Note: All locks will be applied to the selected theme. If you'd like to change this later, you can follow the same process and choose the desired theme to test your locks.
Step 4 (IMPORTANT): To check whether the app is successfully installed on your selected theme, kindly run a validation check. To do this, go to the WLM Settings again > Check code status > Click on the Run code status test button.
This will validate the installation on your selected theme and will display the following notification:
If you don't receive the above notification. See the App code not found in your theme (as shown in the below image) then click on the Add app code button. This will automatically add the Wholesale Lock Manager app’s code to the published theme on your store.

Typically, this happens in two scenarios:
1. When you choose an unsupported theme for the WLM automatic installation.
2. When you update your theme to its new version (in a rare scenario).

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND UPON CHANGING THE THEME:
- Our application does not automatically remove locks and the app code from the previously selected theme.
- To remove the app code and files from the previous theme, don't hesitate to get in touch with our theme integration support team at themes@wholesalehelper.io.
- If you reinstall our application, all locks and the previously selected theme will remain unchanged.
- If you delete the currently selected theme, our application will prompt you to choose a new theme before you proceed to create a new lock.
Miscellaneous use case: If the selected theme couldn't be found or deleted or does not exist, you'll see the following error message.
