To enable pre-orders for items that are currently in stock, go to the Settings page and check the box that says "Enable pre-order on stocked products?" This will allow your customers to place pre-orders for these items to be delivered on a future date. For instance, if customers want to order summer items that should arrive before Black Friday, they can do so through this feature.
