Yes, but multicurrency support using the WPD app works differently depending on your plan and setup. The Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B app has two levels of multi-currency support:
1. Basic multi-currency support — available on the Basic, Professional, and Enterprise plans.
2. Full multi-currency checkout support — available only on the Global plan.
Multi-currency support on Basic, Professional, and Enterprise plans
On the Basic, Professional, and Enterprise plans, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B supports storefront-level multi-currency display, but it does not fully support local-currency checkout.
This means your customers may initially see prices in their local currency across the storefront, such as on the product page and collection page.
However, when the customer reaches the cart page, the cart will show prices in the store’s default currency. After the customer visits the cart page, the store may continue showing the store’s default currency across other pages as well.
For example, if your store’s default currency is USD and the customer is browsing from India, they may first see product prices in INR. But once they go to the cart page, the cart will show prices in USD, and the store may continue showing USD after that.
Because of this, Basic, Professional, and Enterprise plans should be treated as multi-currency display support, not full multi-currency checkout support.
Multi-currency support on the Global plan
The Global plan supports full multi-currency checkout with Shopify Markets integration.
With the Global plan, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B can apply wholesale pricing in the customer’s local currency across the full buying journey, including:
- Product page
- Collection page
- Cart page
- Checkout page
This means the customer can browse, add products to cart, and complete checkout in their local currency based on their market or shipping address.
For example, if your store’s default currency is USD and the customer is checking out from India, the wholesale price can be applied correctly in INR throughout the storefront, cart, and checkout.
Which plan do I need for multi-currency?
If you only need customers to see local currency pricing on the storefront before reaching the cart, Basic, Professional, or Enterprise may be enough.
If you want customers to see and complete checkout with wholesale pricing in their local currency, you need the Global plan.
Important note
For stores using Shopify Markets, checkout currency may depend on the customer’s market or shipping address. If you need accurate wholesale pricing in local-currency checkout, we recommend using the Global plan.
