What are the onboarding steps for Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B?

Welcome to the Wholesale Pricing Discount app! This guide will walk you through the onboarding steps to set up your wholesale pricing and discounts efficiently.

Step 1: Tell Us About Your Wholesale Experience

To provide you with the best support, please let us know about your wholesale experience.

Choose a desired option and click on Next button.

Step 2: Choose Your Starting Point

• Select Setup wholesale prices and discounts for existing customers if you already have retail/wholesale customers in your store. OR
• Select Setup a wholesale registration process for new customers to create a custom registration form for your wholesale customers OR
• Select Setup a wholesale payment option on your store to configure the net payment terms like Net 30/60/90 for your wholesale customers.

Here, for example, we chose the option 1 i.e. Setup wholesale prices and discounts for existing customers. You can set up unselected options from the main dashboard of the app later.

• Use the Back button to return to the previous step or click Next to continue.

Step 3: Create Your First Discount Group

In this step, you can group your customers and offer them a specific type/s of discounts.

• Add a Discount group name - this would be displayed in the Discount group section of the app.
• Add a Customer tag - you can add this tag to your wholesale customers manually from your Shopify admin or you can directly select customers from this window by clicking  on the Add customers button.

• If you want to add more customers, simply select the customers in this window (as shown in below image) and hit Save.

Step 4: Choose Pricing or Discount Type

In this step, choose an option to apply the type of discounts to your Discount group of customers.

• Percentage discount: This will allow you to offer % discount on your products to all the customers that are part of the above Discount group.
• Individual variant pricing: This will allow you to offer custom wholesale pricing for each product variant on your store.
• Volume/tiered discount: This will allow you to display volume discounts, tired pricing, and flat rate for your products on the selected Products page/s in your store.

Note: In this tutorial, we chose Volume/tiered discount option.

Step 5: Define Volume/Tiered Discount Type

After selecting Volume/tiered discount option, now choose the type of discount for volume/tiered pricing.

• Percentage Off: Example: If the retail price is $50 and you set 30% off, the price becomes $35.
• Price Off: Example: If the retail price is $50 and you set $30 off, the price becomes $20.
• Fixed Price: Example: If the retail price is $50 and you set the fixed price as $30, the price becomes $30.
  
• You can set up tiers in the next step based on the selected type. Click Next to proceed.

Step 6: Select Products and Setup Tiers

• Browse products: Select products to apply discounts.
• Enter quantity and discounts: Define the quantity/tiers and respective discounts for selected products.
  Note: In this getting started window, you can only choose one product. You can add more products later from the main dashboard of the app later.

Step 7: Preview of your Selected Pricing or Discount Type

• Click Next to continue.

Step 8: Customer Access to Wholesale Prices

In this step, you get to choose how you want to run your wholesale store using the Wholesale Pricing Discount app.

There are two options:

1. Dedicated Wholesale Section (DWS) (Separate wholesale area)
2. One Store (B2B + B2C) (Combined Store)

• Click Next to continue.

Step 9: Set up a Dedicated Wholesale Section

In this step, you'll see the URL of your wholesale store (automatically created by the Wholesale Pricing Discount app) (As shown in below image).

You can link this URL directly to your store's navigation/main menu. To do this, please follow the steps mentioned in this article: How to link your Dedicated Wholesale Section (DWS) URL to your Store? (As a menu item)

Step 10: Set up One Store (B2B + B2C)

Share the following details for our team to assist with the setup (As shown in image below):

1. Choose theme: Select your current Shopify store's theme from the dropdown.
2. Send email confirmation to: Provide your email here in the placeholder.
3. Select the checkbox "I've granted staff access to Wholesale Helper" if you uninstalled the WPD app in the past and installed it again. Otherwise, leave it unchecked.
4. Now, click on the Next button to proceed further. 

Note: To do a One Store (B2B + B2C) install, staff access is required. Our integration team needs permissions to add the code that supports the display of wholesale prices on the selected theme. They will get back to you within 1-2 business days or sooner.

Step 11: Finalize Setup

• Enter your email and phone to help us reach out to you in case of any queries.

• Select Arrange a 20-minute quick call to provide a demo option if you want our team to connect with you for a detailed product demo or in case of any queries regarding the app.
• Now, click on Finish onboarding once done to complete the setup.
