Want to hide the Add To Cart button for specific collections from guest visitors (not logged in) or for specific customers (by tag)? You can do this using Hide elements in Wholesale Lock Manager.

How to hide the "Add To Cart" button for Collections
- Go to Shopify admin → Apps → Wholesale Lock Manager.
- Open Hide elements from the left menu.
- Click Create hide element.
- Enter a Name for the rule.
- Under Hide elements, enable Hide 'add to cart' button.

Under Who does this apply to?, choose one:
Option 1: Guest users (not logged in): This setting will allow you to hide the Add To Cart button from visitors who are not logged into your store
Option 2: Specific customers (customers with the required customer tag(s)): This setting will allow you to hide your Add To Cart button from specific customers you already have in your store and are tagged with the specific tag(s), for ex, "VIP", "Tier1", etc. (check image below)

Under "which products should be selected", choose Selected Collection:
Selected Collection (Click on Browse button to pick the collection): If you select this setting, you can choose to hide the Add To Cart button for a 'specific collection' on your store from your 'specific customers'.

Hit Save to save your Hide prices setting.
Pro tip: Text, links, and CSS are global. That means the most recently created/updated Hide Element will overwrite these settings and apply them to all active Hide Element rules.

Can I apply a rule to more than one collection?
Yes. You can add multiple collections to a single rule. All collections in the rule will have the same hide settings applied.
Can I have different rules for different collections?
Yes. You can create multiple separate rules, each targeting different collections with different settings. For example, one rule might hide prices only for a summer collection, while another hides both prices and the Add to Cart button for a wholesale-only range.
What if a product appears in multiple collections and only one is covered by a rule?
The rule applies at the collection level. If a product is in a targeted collection, the rule will be enforced when that product is viewed as part of that collection. Product visibility in other contexts depends on your additional rules, if any.
Will this affect SEO or how search engines index my products?
No. The hide rules affect the visual display of elements for human visitors only. Product data remains accessible to search engine crawlers.
Can I disable a collection rule without deleting it?
Yes. Use the Status toggle at the top of the rule to switch it between Enabled and Disabled. A disabled rule does not affect your store but is preserved so you can re-enable it later.
